A source tells Us Weekly that Bret “became close to the entire family” while Miley was recording the duet “Nothing to Lose” with him.
The source continues, “Billy Ray was completely unaware of what was going on,” and that even though reps for Tish deny the rumors, the sources say, “It was a professional relationship that turned into something more.”
