Celebs are human. They do fall from time to time, but unlike the rest of us,their falls always seem to get caught on tape. Which is good because then we can laugh at them. Shania Twain is the latest celeb to do just that because she took a big fall at the CMA’s last night. But after the incident, Twain posted the video herself on the Internet. So we love her a little more now we know she can laugh at herself. Right along with us.

WTF???

A woman from Gurnee faces charges of aggravated assault for threatening an officer with a “rigid female pleasure device.”

Carolee Bildsten, 56, allegedly walked out Tuesday on her tab at Joe’s Crab Shack in Gurnee for a second time, which led the restaurant to call the police on the suspected tab jumper.

Officers found an allegedly intoxicated Bildsten lying on the grass down the street and approached her to investigate the unpaid tabs. She claimed her money was at home and said she would retrieve it to pay the bill, prompting officers to provide an escort. What happened at the apartment, well, the actual police report says it best:

“She walked into her bedroom. She said her money was in her dresser drawer and she opened it and reached inside and removed a “clear, rigid feminine pleasure device” and held it over her head and approached the officer in a threatening manner. The officer knocked the device out of the way prior to being struck and placed the woman under arrest. She was then escorted out of the residence, placed in the squad car and transported to the Gurnee Police Department.”

Clear Rigid Female Pleasure Device- Gotta give them points for creativity on that one!

It is true! Courtney Love is the latest name floated to replace Simon Cowell on the 10th season of American Idol.

On Wednesday, In Touch Weekly spies revealed that ditzy pop tart Jessica Simpson is a favorite to join Ellen DeGeneres, Randy Jackson, and Kara DioGuardi at the table after several positive chats with series producers.

Beach Bum Tanning Salon serves as Lindsay Lohan’s stomping ground whenever she rolls into the NYC for a bit of R&R. In fact, the Manhattan facility has been lathering up The Lohan Clan with bronzer for more than a decade. That’s exactly why Beach Bum owners are hosting a “Free Lindsay Rally” outside their establishment this afternoon.

The salon held a similar rally when the State of California pinched heiress Paris Hilton on probation violation charges in 2007.

Beach Bum hopes to “draw awareness to the harsh punishment inflicted on Lohan due to her celebrity status.” (screw world hunger because this is obviously a bigger issue) The event will feature a ribbon-tying ceremony, presumably to represent the alcohol-monitoring shackle the courts had tied on Lindsay’s ankle before she began her sentence.

A presser obtained by Gawker.com this week reads: “Lohan began her sentence on July 20, 2010 at a Hollywood facility after a trial that was filled with media attention and paparazzi presence. The actress is set to be released in October; however, she may be let out early due to overcrowding. The owners of Beach Bum miss seeing her at the salon and hope for her speedy return…. The ceremony kicks off, Tuesday July 27, 2010 at 12 P.M. at the 239 7th Avenue salon location, with a press conference and ribbon tying ceremony. On display will be a prominent homemade Sign across the building saying ‘We love you Lindsay! Come home soon.’”

Try as they might, it looks increasingly unlikely that the tanned-to-a-tangerine masses of the City That Doesn’t Sleep will be successful in their bid to have Lohan released from her new home at the Century Regional Detention Center anytime this week.

The 24-year-old actress — who is only six days into a 90-day jail sentence for breaking the terms of her probation for a 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) charge — had hoped to be released this week due to prison overcrowding, but a jail spokesman has confirmed that will not happen.
